As of 2012, the Institute helped to develop the Vila Viva Project, in the Jardim Guatambu community, in the Tatuquara neighborhood, in Curitiba – PR. The project aims to promote community development through the implementation of workshops, proposing a focus on sustainability, health, and self-esteem.

Among the workshops, the following stand out: a cleaning effort, art on the sidewalks, model houses, tree planting, cooking, and food waste management, homemade soap, motivational lectures, lectures on the environment, among others.

During the Vila Viva Project, the following activities were developed:

Held in 2014, the action included lectures to help encourage blood donation, due to the great demand arising from the scarcity in blood banks.

Held in 2014, this activity aimed to collect warm clothing for vulnerable people, who suffer when temperatures are low in Curitiba-PR.

This activity has been maintained and still happens every year, in December. With resources from the Institute itself and partners at the CMEI Moradias da Ordem daycare center in the Tatuquara neighborhood, in Curitiba – PR, it consists of a Christmas party for the children.
